Creative ideation and writing for captivating experiences
Intuit uses its annual meetings to celebrate major moments and milestones with the whole company. One notable year, we were engaged to bring some creative ideation firepower to celebrate some singular achievements, most notably to honor their outgoing CEO.
Project highlights:
Collaborated with internal teams to shape direction
Creative ideation for multiple videos: developing and iterating themes
Video scriptwriting, consulting on storyboard design and flow
Concepting and copywriting for complementary event elements
Creative ideation in line with a corporate narrative
Intuit’s annual internal meeting is a rolling event for thousands of employees across a dozen time zones. One year, with the CEO announcing his retirement after 11 years of epic growth, they wanted extra help with videos and experiences to capture the right message and tone.
To kick off concepting we reviewed a trove of company stats and stories, employee quotes, inside jokes, and other relevant gems. Then we helped to shape multiple creative themes for three videos, each complemented the corporate narrative and one another.

We collaborated with Intuit's internal teams on video scripts and storyboards to hit the right message and tone.
Bringing powerful stories to life
Once creative themes were selected, we wrote scripts and collaborated on storyboards for each video. The main attraction: a “thank you” video to the beloved CEO, with the dual goals of celebrating wins and pulling at heartstrings (tears were shed).
We consulted at various stages of video production to help the video strike the right balance of visual and verbal, information and emotion.

Annual meeting or company celebration? We dialed up the creative ideation to make for a special internal experience.
Extending creative ideation to other internal experiences
Videos were just half the story. We also helped internal teams with complementary experiences and materials, pre- and post-event communications, added extras for top performers that led into to other events.
The whole event was considered a huge success—striking a balance of celebrating the past, enjoying the moment, and building excitement for the future.
